BWAAACKKK !!! Romney's Little Chicken Hawks!!!!

"My sons are all adults and they've made decisions about their careers and they've chosen not to serve in the military and active duty and I respect their decision in that regard. One of the ways my sons are showing support for our nation is helping me get elected because they think I'd be a great president."

Any opinions or somethin you just wanna get off your chest
And address it about my lyrics I'd love to hear it
All you gotta do is pick up the phone and just dial up this number
It's 1-800-I'm a dick sucker I love to suck a dick
And if someone picks up you can talk all the shit you want about me
Just type in your number back and follow it by the pound key
And I'll be sure to get back
As soon as there comes a day that I fall out with Dre
Wake up gay, make up with Ray (Hey!)
So fuck a chicken, lick a chicken, suck a chicken,
Beat a chicken, eat a chicken like it's a big cock
Bawka-bi-kaw!!!
Or suck a dick, and lick a dick and eat a dick
And stick a dick in your mouth
I'm done you can fuck off
fucka-fucka-fuck offf!

Go Barry!!!

“NBA official admitted today that they should have known that something was amiss when they received reports about disgraced referee Tim Donaghy officiating games in the off-season for the Harlem Globe Trotters, games in which the Globe Trotters would consistently *not* beat the spread.” Gordie Thoren

Before you people all gratuitously pile on Barry Bonds, I’d strongly suggest reading former White House Ant-Terrorism Czar, Ricard A. Clarke’s latest Cyber Punk novel “Breakpoint” to see what he has to say on the subject.

OK, I get it, Barry Bonds is not a nice person, personality-wise, (for that matter, neither was John Lennon of The Beatles), and, sigh, yes, we all wish he’d take a page out of his Godfather, Willie Mays’s Book of Dignity, and do the Cuba Gooding Jr. “Jerry McGuire” dance.

Then again, why in the hell, should he?

Show of hands.

Who here has ever been on prescription medication to improve and/or enhance their performance in life, be it work or personal?

Or had their kids put on Ritalin, so they’d do better in school?

And speaking of the “precious children” what do we tell the 6 million plus kids, that we don’t want to make cynical, or disillusion, that are currently on Ritalin?

Or does fall under the acceptable “mixed messages” category that we adults spoon-feed kids?

Here’s a hypothetical question for you.

An affordable drug, with no side-effects, comes to the market, after going through a rigorous set of FDA clinical trials, that gives you a 100% photographic memory.*

Would you take it?

Would you counsel parents who want their kids to get into the best school that they can to not let their kids take that drug, even though every other kid in the class is taking it?

Would you want the President of The United States, as well as all his advisers, to take it?

If not, why not?

If so, then how is that any different than taking a regulated drug to enhance physical performance?

As far as maintaining the “Purity of the game goes”, Cosmo Kramer, please.

I was born at night, but not last night.

“Professional” Sports in America is a rigged game.

Think it’s not?

OK, sure, feel free to tell yourself that, and just ignore the fact that the majority of all World Series games for the better part of the last decade have gone the full 7 games, for some reason.

Which is like, statistically impossible, but that's no nevermind.

Major League Baseball, first and foremost, all personalities aside, is a multi-billion dollar business.

Can you name one business in the USA that generates over a billion dollars of revenue that runs from a morally ethical center?

Microsoft?

GE?

Time Warner?

Exxon-Mobile?

Blue Cross/Blue Shield?

Any of those?

Why should MLB, or any other sports league, be an exception to predatorial way America does business?

I really don’t get the sports doping = bad idea thing.

Try to put yourself in the shoes of an adolescent/early 20s, naturally gifted athlete, in a culture that’s money driven.

On the one hand, they can go the au natural route, work their butts off to get to the top of their game and at the end of that their reward is a $2 million dollar contract.

Or they can do all that, plus add a little chemical enhancement into their regimen and at the end of that their reward is a $20 million dollar a year contract.

Guarantee you that 90% of all these young professional athletes, when looking at these sets of numbers, and planning for their futures of themselves and their families are going to make the obvious choice.

There is one answer to all this.

Let’s get honest and put a stop to the current hypocrisy and eliminate *all* performance drug testing in all “Professional” Sports.

Thanks!

~Nyc

An Isolated Incident?

Or is there a grain of truth to that old Urban Legend that...

"Cops have the best dope?"

$2.5 million bucks in a 15 pound bag, not hard to see how something like this might have a corrupting influence on our Brave Men In Blue.

I'll bet his motives were good in joining the Police Force, as it is with most cops, then temptation like this comes along....

Detroit Cop Accused Of Stealing Cocaine

Detroit Police Chief Ella Bully-Cummings today announced that a narcotics officer has been suspended for allegedly stealing six kilograms, about 13.2 pounds, of uncut cocaine from the department's property room.

The chief said the officer had the authority to sign out cocaine from the room and is suspected of replacing it with another substance and keeping the drug. She said the uncut cocaine has a street value of about $2.4 million.

The officer, whom she wouldn't identify because he hasn't been charged with a crime, was suspended Wednesday night with pay pending a criminal and dept investigation. His pay status will be reviewed before the Board of Police Commissioners.

"I, along with the hardworking members of this police department, have absolutely no tolerance for anyone who chooses to tarnish the image of the Detroit Police Department and defy the oath taken by police officers," Bully-Cummings said.

Bully-Cummings said he is a veteran narcotics officer who had access to drug evidence in criminal cases.

She said the FBI is assisting in the criminal investigation and internal affairs is involved in the departmental investigation.

Saddam Hussein Will Hang By The Neck Until Dead!!!!

From Sergio Leone's The Good, The Bad And The Ugly by way of sample on Big Audio Dynamite's first song, Medicine Show on their 1985 debut album, This Is Big Audio Dynamite:

"Wanted in fourteen counties of this State
The condemned is found guilty of crimes and murder
Armed robbery of citizens, state banks, and post offices
The theft of sacred objects, arson in a state prison
Perjury, bigamy, deserting his wife and children
Inciting prostitution, kidnapping, extortion
Receiving stolen goods, selling stolen goods
Passing counterfeit money, and contrary to the laws of this State
The condemned is guilty of using marked cards...
Therefore, according to the powers vested in us
We sentence the accused before us
Tuco Benedicto Pacifico Juan Maria Ramirez (known as the Rat)
And any other aliases he might have
To hang by the neck until dead
May God have mercy on his soul...
.... Proceed!!!!
Duck you suckers!!!!
(sound of rapid gunfire)
"
Now that the above fate is also that of Saddam Hussein, partly for the one-time gassing of of 30,000 of his own people, (though I know that that isn't what he was on trial and sentenced for, but still....), using the poison gas that the Government of The United States of America sold him, wouldn't it be possible to apply the same standard to the Executives of Big Tobacco?

Hehehheh.

I ask this question as a life-long smoker.

After all the poison gas of cigarettes murders 400,000 of our fellow Americans, each and every year, so I gotta ask, what's the motherfucking difference?

I know, I know, nobody puts a gun to anybody's head to make them smoke, I've heard that one, but the fact remains that even after the ill effects of cigarette smoking became widely known, as well as the efforts of Big Tobacco to supress those findings, this industry, and those that lead it, spend hundreds of millions of dollars, each and every year, to not only produce and distribute these death sticks, but to advertise them to the general public as well, in many cases targeting this advertising at children, in the hopes of getting them addicted and buying their products at an early age.

Once addicted, a lot of choice is removed from people that they would otherwise have, in fact that's the whole point of getting people addicted to something in the first place.

So, ask yourself here, just who is more evil?

Saddam Hussein who gassed his own people, for political advantage, or Big Tobacco who gasses to death 10 times as many people in The United States of America each year, as a way of making a buck?

If Saddam Hussein is being held to account for his "Crimes Against Humanity"then why can't Big Tobacco be held to account in the same way too?

I'm just sayin'....

Stuck In The Mud, or Metaphors Are Us

On November 6th, 2006, The USS Intrepid Floating Museum was to be moved from her berth on the West Side of Manhattan, where she had been living after her Naval decommissioning, to Bayonne, NJ, so that she could undergo a much needed overhaul and get all spruced up for future generation of war-pr0n loving Americans.

The above pic is from an Ebay promotion where 6 seats were to be sold at $100k a pop.

Guess what?

Wouldn't you know it?

Here in the land of Bill O'Reilly, Sean Hannity, Michelle Malkin, Rush Limbaugh, Ann Coullter, and Rupert Murdoch's flag waving, jingoistic, war-profiteering gang over there at Fox News there were...

No takers.

None.

Zilch.

Zero.

De Nada.

The Big Zero.

Goose Eggs.

Not one of those fucker wanted to step up to the plate and do the right thing with their ill-gotten gains.

At least none that wanted to put their money where their moufs are and "Support The Troops" in a tangible way, past putting a magnetic yellow sticker on their Stupid Ugly Vehicles.

Which is just as well, because after sitting in that one spot for the better part of 20 years, a lot of silt built up and she got, well, stuck in the motherfucking mud!

How's that for a metaphor for our age?

And on the Monday before the Mid-Term Congressional Elections, no less.

(Full Disclosure: I once kinda briefly lived aboard the USS Intrepid a few months prior to my enlistment in the US Marine Corps, here's the story I've relayed elsewhere to a friend about it:

Back in 1986 I worked on a Michael Keaton movie called 'The Squeeze' and practically lived on board this sucker for about two weeks because it was 8 hours between call and my commute home, (we shot at night, yuck), was a 2 hour journey each way, so a coupla mornings I'd do the linger in the background thing until everybody left and I'd go sleep for a few hours in my little hidey-place.

It was funny, on the days I left with the crew the pre-Ghouliani era hookers were waiting for us at the exit gates. Always made me feel like I was leaving a factory in the 1930's instead of modern day film location. :-)

When the movie came out, it was clear that they had re-shot some of the sequences that didn't involve HS Marching bands, NJ General cheerleaders, Marine Corps Color Guard and John Davidson, in a studio in North Carolina....

.... I was a Set\Parking PA,Craft Service, Evian Water Boy, Stepin Fetchit.

One of the more interesting tasks on that job was they had me go out and buy gallons and gallons of that ghetto wine, Ripple, because Micheal Keaton's lovable loser character is supposed to take a bath in it according to the script, though I think they cut that scene out of the movie.

Another example of the profligate wastefulness of Hollywood.

The again, it wasn't a total waste for me, by the end of shoot, Über-hottie, Rae Dawn Chong, Tommy Chong's daughter, and the movie's love interest was calling me by my name. :-) How cool is that?")

Update: After several weeks of effort, an effort that cost significantly more than the $600K they tried to raise in the $100k per seat promotion, they finally got the mud cleared from the propellors and got the old girl moved so she can get her 21st century Museum refurbishment.

If things go according schedule, she should be back just in time for a triumphal return to Manhattan just in time for the 2008 Presidential elections.

Then again, I wouldn't hold my breath.

How come when Gerry Studds was having real live ups the ass sex with a 17 yo page the newspapers didn't say anything?

Here's my reply:

Back in 1982, 20 years before the Catholic Church boy rape scandal broke in 2002, The movie "Airplane! The Sequel" featured a sight gag about a Catholic Priest reading a magazine called "Altar Boy" and checking out the centerfold.

A review of the movie on Amazon may provide the answer you are looking for:

"Back in the early 80s, it was still possible to do mild gags about paedophilia (not only Graves's chumminess with the cute kid who visits the cockpit, but also the priest looking at the centerfold of "Altar Boy" magazine)."

Times change.

But boy fucking is still as much a punchline today as it was then, isn't it?

I think it's hysterical that Mark Foley broke NO laws, but yet the smear machine, that the Rebumblicans have spent the last 25 years building to destroy people, and institutions, has been turned against them in the way it has in this case.

Couldn't happen to a nicer group of people.

And I mean that in the nicest way. :-)

Can't write this shit.

Too funny.

It's a knee-slapper.

I work with a Republican, and when this story broke I had to "call out laughing" just so I wouldn't get fired, or beat up, at work for being unable to help myself from laughing in the dude's face.

Y'know, if maybe you guys weren't so fucked up in the head, and repressive around the subject of sex, so many guys like Mark Foley wouldn't exist in our society.

It's called being "hoisted by your own petards" and reaping what you sow.

Until you're willing to have a GROWN-UP conversation about sex in this country, and that means NOT hounding The Surgeon General out of her post when she tries to initiate a public health conversation about masturbation, then this isn't, and won't be the last time, you're gonna buy yourselves a scandal like this.

BTW, there was a Republican that got busted fucking a *female* page at the same time Studds was fucking that boy and he got censured too, only, unlike Studds, he wasn't re-elected.

Boo-hoo on you.

Now run along, boy, and get out the vote!

"There aren't a lot of things in this world that one can be sure of, but I do know this; anytime you go by a House of Worship, of any size, and of any denomination, that's filled to its rafters with people, you can be certain that the vast majority of those people haven't actually taken the time out to read The Bible, or whatever ancient, "Sacred Text" that they subscribe to, because if they had read it, that House of Worship would be nearly empty."

"Christians" The Church And The Bible

"There aren't a lot of things in this world that one can be sure of, but I do know this; anytime you go by a Church, of any denomination, that's filled to the rafters with people, you can be certain that the vast majority of them haven't read The Bible, because if they had, that Church would be nearly empty."

Re: Jude Law / Ashlee Simpson > October 23rd

Re: Jude Law / Ashlee Simpson > October 23rd

"I feel so bad my band started playing the wrong song and I didn't know what to do so I thought I'd do a hoe-down- I'm sorry."

synchbuster writing about the Saturday Night Live Ashlee Simpson Emperor Has No Clothes debacle that went down last night spoke for a lot of people out there in music land when they said:

"All I know is. I love that this happened. I hope people continue talking about it. And I hope the discussion widens to encompass the phoniness of this genre of music in general. "

And I can see that too, but I'm also thinking, why stop there?

I mean wow, isn't this just like the posturing of this BuschCo Administration?

Something bad happens, they just elide over it like it wasn't even there
